Bolabet Launches Player-Versus-Player Crash Game in Zimbabwe
Bolabet has introduced Sky Control, a competitive player-versus-player crash game, to its Zimbabwe operations on September 29, marking the first time such gameplay format has been available in the country’s gaming market.

Competitive Format Replaces Traditional Solo Gameplay
Sky Control allows players to compete in one-on-one duels, pool battles, and multi-round tournaments tracked through real-time leaderboards. The mobile-friendly game incorporates skill-based mechanics and provably fair technology. Bolabet Group CEO Hilton Hasson addressed the launch significance for the Zimbabwean market.
“With Sky Control, we’re delivering a product that captures the imagination and keeps players engaged – and we’re proud to be the very first in Zimbabwe to make it happen,” Hasson stated. The operator simultaneously launched the game across its Zambia and Malawi operations, though Zimbabwe represents the primary market focus for the competitive crash game introduction.
Operator Expands Portfolio Amid Regulatory Changes
Bolabet previously partnered with Logifuture in March 2025 to launch Zoom Soccer, diversifying its gaming offerings for different player segments. The company operates within Zimbabwe’s evolving regulatory environment, which includes proposed taxation on gaming winnings aimed at supporting economic recovery initiatives during ongoing energy infrastructure challenges.
The Sky Control launch reflects Bolabet’s positioning within African gaming markets as operators introduce new gameplay formats. The competitive crash game format represents a departure from traditional single-player mechanics by incorporating tournament structures and direct player competition elements.
