The National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire has launched Tranche Commune Entente 2025 on October 6, doubling the grand prize from $17 000 to $35 000 while increasing social project funding to $221 000 across five West African nations.

Cross-Border Initiative Unites Five National Lotteries

TCE 2025 brings together national lotteries from Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger, and Togo in a regional solidarity platform. The launch at LONACI Studios in Abidjan introduced format changes. Including moving scratch tickets to Lotto 5/90 and increasing community project contributions. Tickets sell for $0.89 with special draws on October 7, 14, and 21, 2025, conducted via Emergence and Noon Rush Loto Bonheur.

Maïmouna Traoré, Product Manager for Loto Bonheur at LONACI, explained the winner structure. “The four first winners of each draw will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Lomé to participate in the super draw, while the nine other winners will receive intermediate prizes. This concept of game aims to strengthen solidarity among the Council of the Entente member states through social actions,” Traoré stated. Ten winning tickets will be selected during each draw under Justice Commissioner supervision.

Social Projects Support Regional Healthcare Infrastructure

Each year, the host country receives a social project from the combined Council of the Entente national lotteries. “After the health centre was built in Cotonou in 2024, this year the social project will benefit Lomé, the capital of Togo,” Traoré noted. The grand draw will occur on November 28, 2025, in Lomé.

LONACI’s Director of Marketing and Customer Experience Check Diarra emphasized the initiative’s enduring impact. Noting that Côte d’Ivoire received health centers with accommodation in Bouaflé and Abobo. The TCE demonstrates how African lotteries combine entertainment with social development, supporting healthcare, education, and infrastructure improvements across the region.
