Jelly Enters African Market Through Content Deal with betPawa
Jelly has signed a new partnership with betPawa, marking its entry into the African gaming market. The agreement will see Jelly deliver mobile-first crash, instant win, and slot games tailored for local conditions, with both companies also co-developing region-specific content.

Tailored Gaming Content for Mobile Players
Jelly will provide games designed specifically for mobile users in low-bandwidth environments. All content will be optimized for portrait-only display. This includes bespoke crash games, instant wins, and slots that fit local player preferences.
The studio’s portfolio, which includes over 25 games such as CleoPatrick, Midas Riches, and Witches Go Wild, is currently live with more than 100 brands worldwide. The partnership with betPawa adds a new continent to that reach.
Co-development of Region-Specific Titles
Beyond delivering existing content, Jelly and betPawa will collaborate on new games developed with African players in mind. This includes adapting themes, gameplay mechanics, and technical features to match local market dynamics.
David Newstead, Chief Business Development Officer at Jelly, stated:
“Joining forces with betPawa is a significant strategic move for us. betPawa’s presence across Africa will help us reach more players than ever before. It’s a partnership that secures us a stronger foothold in an important territory and aligns perfectly with our expansion goals in emerging regulated markets.”
betPawa currently operates in 17 African countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Cameroon, and Zambia. It serves over 10 million users across the continent. The integration will be powered by Jelly’s Remote Gaming Server (RGS), supporting content delivery in all markets where betPawa is licensed.
