Kenya and Azerbaijan Expand Diplomatic and Development Partnership

Kenya prepares to host UNEA-7 in December 2025 with Azerbaijan’s support on key resolutions. These cover Artificial Intelligence, Sports & Environment and Antimicrobial Resistance topics. The collaboration reflects shared priorities in environmental governance and technology policy development.
Kenya will participate at the 13th World Urban Forum in Baku in 2026. This expands cooperation in digital innovation, climate action, trade, and green growth sectors. The forum provides a platform for urban development policy exchange between both nations.
