LONACI Organizes Regional Lottery Draw with $187,500 Social Fund
The National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire prepares for the Tranche Commune Entente Super Grand Draw scheduled for November 28 in Togo. The cross-border lottery involves national lotteries from Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, Benin, Niger, and Burkina Faso. LONACI conducted promotional draws in October to select eligible participants, requiring ticket validation and phone number submission.

Prize Structure Spans Regional Competition
Check Diarra, LONACI’s Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, noted the TCE jackpot increased from $15,000 to $30,000. Social project contributions also received increases, according to officials. Top qualifiers receive fully paid airplane trips to Lomé for the Super Draw.
Maïmouna Traoré, Product Manager for Loto Bonheur, stated prizes range from $3,000 to $30,000. The first four qualifiers from each draw benefit from LONACI-funded travel to participate. The event combines entertainment with prize distribution across participating West African nations.
Development Fund Targets Regional Projects
TCE 2025 allocates $187,500 total to social and development projects. Each national lottery contributes $37,500 to fund a medical and social centre at Kara University in Togo. The framework supports regional cooperation through coordinated social investment.
Funds support entrepreneurship initiatives, including ten youth-led projects receiving $3,000 each. Twenty women-led income-generating projects receive $1,500 each under the program. LONATO’s Kokouvi Amédomé described TCE 2025 as structured around three pillars covering bettor rewards, infrastructure building and entrepreneurship promotion.
