This collaboration aims to provide extensive and comprehensive coverage of golf, enhancing its visibility and accessibility across the country.
Joe Kigozi, the General Manager of NBS Sport, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing the network’s ambitious goals. “Our aim is to redefine sports broadcasting in Uganda by providing extensive coverage of golf,” Kigozi stated. “Through live streams and broadcasts, we intend to showcase every aspect of golfing events, from local tournaments to international competitions.”
Dr. Jackson Were highlighted the significance of this partnership in making golf more accessible to all Ugandans. “We believe that visibility is key to fostering a deeper appreciation for golf,” Dr. Were explained. “With NBS Sport as our official broadcaster, we are confident that golf will reach a broader audience, inspiring a new generation of enthusiasts.”
Commitment to Ugandan Sports

This partnership represents a new chapter in our commitment to showcasing the diversity and talent within Uganda’s sporting landscape.”
This partnership is expected to have implications for the iGaming industry in Uganda. Enhanced media coverage of golf will likely increase betting interest in the sport, providing more opportunities for bookmakers and bettors alike.
The visibility and professional coverage could drive higher engagement in sports betting, particularly on golf events, further stimulating the growth of the iGaming sector in the country.
As this partnership unfolds, Ugandans can anticipate comprehensive golf coverage that celebrates the country’s sporting achievements and promotes a deeper understanding of the game.
