Cryptocurrency betting platform Sportsbet.io has recruited four new ambassadors for its “Join the Crypto Experience” program, with three of the appointments targeting Nigeria’s expanding digital gambling market. The selections include football commentator Kofoworola Adetimilehin, crypto influencer Benjamin Dimah, beauty pageant winner Rachel Ochanya, and entertainer MC Galaxy.

Virtual Launch Event Showcases Platform Features

The operator formally introduced the new ambassadors during a virtual event on August 25, 2025, featuring video presentations, interactive Q&A sessions, and cryptocurrency betting demonstrations. The program, launched in 2023, now includes more than two dozen ambassadors promoting digital currency integration with traditional sports betting. Previous ambassador appointments include Nigerian football legend Nwankwo Kanu, NBA player Tristan Thompson, and Tanzanian music duo Navy Kenzo.

Kofoworola Adetimilehin hosts “Sideline Insights with Rola,” providing Premier League analysis and fan-focused content to Nigerian football audiences. Benjamin Dimah operates as a crypto and gaming influencer focused on digital asset education and cryptocurrency betting accessibility. The platform added five additional influencers in May 2025, expanding its regional presence across key African markets.

Strategic Focus on Youth Demographics and Social Media

Rachel Ochanya, the 2025 Face of Hope Beauty Pageant winner, combines fashion advocacy with sports content to engage younger demographic segments. MC Galaxy brings entertainment value through his “Sekem” music fame and reputation for accurate football predictions shared via WhatsApp platforms. The ambassador selection strategy reflects Sportsbet.io’s targeting of Africa’s tech-savvy youth population in regions experiencing rapid cryptocurrency adoption.

The new ambassadors will create content across social media platforms including X and TikTok, covering football analysis, cryptocurrency education, and lifestyle topics designed to drive user engagement. Their content strategy aims to attract new users to Sportsbet.io’s platform while promoting the company’s cryptocurrency betting features and promotional offerings. The program specifically targets Nigeria and Kenya, where both iGaming participation and digital currency usage continue expanding rapidly among younger demographics.
