Togo Deploys 5,000 Modern Lottery Terminals by 2030
The Togolese national lottery operator is rolling out advanced gaming infrastructure across the country as part of a government-backed digitalization program. LONATO plans to install up to 5,000 new terminals over five years, starting with 900 TS10 units currently being upgraded.

Enhanced Infrastructure Supports Faster Operations
The new terminals feature integrated 24-hour battery systems and multiple connectivity options spanning 2G through 4G networks with dual SIM capability. This technology ensures consistent service even in areas with unstable power supply or varying network coverage.
Draw results now appear within five minutes of ticket sales closing, down from significantly longer wait times previously. The operator has also expanded its game portfolio with Loto Matinal, launched in 2024, and Loto Turbo, offering twice-daily draws while maintaining accessible ticket prices.
Digital Strategy Aligns with National Development Goals
The modernization supports Togo Digital 2025-2030, the government’s plan to establish the country as a West African technology center. The infrastructure expansion is expected to increase player engagement and government revenues while extending lottery access to underserved regions nationwide.
Minister of Digital Economy Kodjo Adedze stated the initiatives aim to strengthen national revenue while providing a modern, transparent lottery experience. The digital transformation reinforces LONATO’s role in national development through improved transparency and broader accessibility across Togo.
